As a born and bred Torontonian this city holds a special place in my heart. I love the bustle of its busy streets, the buzz of its culture and the glitz of its nightlife. As obsessed as I am with my hometown, I also mourn its lack of green space. It’s tragic how difficult it can be to connect with nature in this concrete jungle. When the rare opportunity to escape the city comes up, I often relish it. Last weekend I crossed something off of my bucket list that I’ve been meaning to do for awhile. I visited the mythical Muskoka ice skating trail at Arrowhead Provincial Park.
