There’s nothing like ice cold gelato to help you cool off on a hot summer’s day! I’m so happy to be celebrating the launch of summer in the 6ix at G for Gelato’s Sweet Summer Splash party. Join me on Sunday June 19 (noon to 5 p.m.) at 75 Jarvis St. because if you haven’t tried their gelato, pizza and desserts… you’re in for a treat!
Lamesa Filipino Kitchen is a must-try if you’re in the Queen and Bathurst area. I’ve never had Filipino food before, but I will definitely have it again. This cute little spot has a cozy and intimate ambiance. I’d come back here for date night, with a close group of friends or for a casual business meeting. My favourite thing about this place is the staff. I love when people are passionate about what they do. It’s infectious. Our server explained the menu in detail, gave us his recommendations and then explained each dish thoroughly as it came out. What a treat!
One of the most delicious food events in Toronto is just around the corner. If you haven’t been to Winterlicious, you’re missing out! It’s a celebration of gourmet eats curated by top chefs at some of the best restaurants in the city. This event makes gourmet food affordable, giving everyone access to restaurants they might not normally try at prices that don’t break the bank. So pause that Netflix and chill session, throw on a parka and get out of the house to nibble on a fixed price menu of gourmet fare. It’s a great way to discover new places and revisit old favourites.
